So I am at day 7 of the Hindu Kush autoflower micro grow and things are going OK. The seeds I had were pretty old and all the plants were born with weird half true leafs. My other issue was I started the seeds under only 18 watts of LED light bulbs, around 10 inches from the sprouts, to be safe, and they stretched. So on day 3 I added the other 2 LED bulbs to my fixture and moved the plants closer to those lights. They are about 5 inches from the 4 9 watt LED bulbs now and the stretching seemed to stop.
I planted 2 seeds per pot, because the seeds were old, so I wanted to make sure I got 1 plant going per pot. I would not have done this if the seeds were fresher and I knew everything would be perfect. So in a week or so I plan on culling the weaker of the 2 plants in each pot.
So far only 2 of the stretched plants fell over. So for those I used a little bamboo skewer as a stake to hold them up.
The coco is staying perfectly moist so yesterday was the first day I gave the plants a little bottom feeding of water, and they sucked it right up.
All the plants are just starting to put out their second set of true leaves. And everything looks good. I am really hoping they decide to really take off in this next week. So that’s it for this update on the Hindu Kush Autoflower grow, micro style. Enjoy the pictures below.
